Job Summary

The Server's primary responsibility is to provide professional, knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, food and beverage services to all guests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Works with other team members to ensure guests are seated as efficiently and quickly as possible.
  • Strives to achieve or exceed average guest check goal.
  • Commits to Guest Focus-treat every customer like they are a guest in our home.
  • Provides Urgent Service-serving the guest in a professional manner so they are not left wanting or needing anything during their visit.
  • Demonstrates exceptional product knowledge.
  • Listens to guests and suggests items that meet their needs and enhance their experience.
  • Consistently provides every guest with the same great service.
  • Demonstrates a desire to help where needed.
  • Lives and breathes concept - continually uses concept lingo and promotes concept.
  • Manages all complaints as a form of feedback that can help us improve our service.
  • Awareness of telephone personality: creates a positive first impression - remembers to SMILE.

  • Performs related maintenance/cleaning duties as required.
  • Follows Health and Safety procedures set out in Health and Safety manual.

  • Perform all duties in accordance with the guidelines, practices, rules, policies and procedures established by G.C.C., G.P.E.B., C.P.M.A., and B.C.L.C.

Requirements

  • Serving it Right Certificate.
  • Well-spoken/articulate with a wide variety of people.
  • Communicates effectively with all team members and management.
  • Availability to accommodate a flexible work schedule and willingness to work with short notice.
  • Works well under pressure - Able to work within a fast-paced environment on a regular basis.
  • Self-confident, cheerful, congenial, enthusiastic, outgoing and energetic personality.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume casual dining restaurant a definite asset.
  • A pleasant and engaging personality coupled with a professional appearance and demeanor is a requirement for all positions within our restaurants.
  • Must arrange your own transportation.
